Using sangiovese grapes from 6 vineyards on the highest slopes of San Miniato, cultivated using natural and ancient techniques. The name "Reciso" is derived from the difficult techniques of cutting the lymph to give more richness and personality to the grape. Matured for 24 months in large format oak barrels.
Deep garnet colour with lively aromas of wild blackberry, tanned leather, barley and roasted coffee. The palate is dry and lean, with pronounced tannins; the finish develops a classic hint of dark chocolate, a characteristic encouraged by our clayey soil.
