Salame dal Cordino Rosso (Salami with Red Cord) is a typical salami from the Terre Alfieri hills. It is unique because it is obtained from pigs raised in health and well-being, but also because the ingredients are zero km.
In fact, for the tanning of this salami an ancient recipe is followed which involves the use of honey as an aid to conservation. In addition, its flavour is enhanced thanks to the presence of whole black pepper, coarse salt and finally the addition of Nebbiolo wine from the Terre Alfieri hills. Characteristic of this salami is the red cord with which it is dressed and accompanied throughout the seasoning.
Ingredients: Italian pork, sea salt, Terre Alfieri red wine, spices, honey, aromatic plants, preservative: potassium nitrate.
Tasty instructions for use : we recommend bringing it to room temperature and slicing it by hand about half an hour before its consumption, in order to best enhance its delicate taste. Ideal to be enjoyed au naturel, or accompanied by a slice of homemade bread.
