Luiset Salame Tradizionale has always accompanied the history of the Luiset company.
It is a raw salami prepared with noble cuts of pork, ground to medium grain and flavoured with spices and aromatic herbs according to an ancient Piedmontese recipe. It is then stuffed into a thin casing of various sizes and left to mature slowly. This exceptional salami, handmade, obtains during its seasoning variable according to the size, a strong perfume, a delicate aspect and a sweet taste that distinguishes it from all the others.
Ideal to be enjoyed fresh and fragrant after one or two months of ageing.
Ingredients: Italian pork, sea salt, wine, honey, spices, aromatic plants, preservative: potassium nitrate.
Tasty instructions for use : we recommend bringing it to room temperature and slicing it by hand about half an hour before its consumption, in order to best enhance its delicate and slightly spicy taste. Ideal to be enjoyed au naturel, or accompanied by a slice of homemade bread.
The Luiset Story
Luiset salami are produced exclusively with fresh meat coming from pigs in excellent health condition: bred and fattened on their farm situated in Ferrere (Asti). The pigs are raised in remarkable free range conditions with the wellbeing of the animals first and foremost.
