Speck is one of the most sought after and appreciated Italian salami. It is obtained only from the selected pork legs, which are then boned and trimmed, then hung on special trolleys to take on the traditional irregular rectangle shape, then salted and flavoured with spices and aromatic herbs, smoked and finally matured from 4 months to over a year depending on the size of the product.
Ingredients : Italian pork leg, sea salt, spices, rosemary, garlic, preservative: potassium nitrate, vaporised liquid food smoke.
Tasty instructions for use : We recommend bringing it to room temperature and slicing it by hand about half an hour before its consumption, in order to best enhance its delicate and slightly spicy taste. Ideal to be enjoyed au naturel, or accompanied by a slice of homemade bread.
